Fall

I have mixed feelings about it being fall...it means summer is over, which I am very sad about and not ready for, but there are lots of fun things to do in the Fall.  If only we could just have fall and then skip straight to summer again.  We've had a fun month so far minus Kevin having to travel for work, which he had to do again at the end of the month and I am not very happy about that.  Although Carter and I do enjoy having a sleepover at Grandma's while he is gone.
I finally finished my Halloween banner that I started last October, I think it turned out pretty cute:)

I put out my Fall decorations

It doesn't look that good in the picture but I tried making potato cheddar soup and bread bowls! It turned out pretty good. I even experimented a little and added broccoli to the soup which was really good.

Yay for apple season! We have lots of apples and made some really yummy pie. I'm excited to make some applesauce too and we think we might try to make some apple muffins tomorrow.  My mom has a whole tree full of apples that she picked to we will be making lots of apple stuff to try:)

This morning we found a fun pumpkin patch/farm to go to. We had a blast! the animals were all so cute and Carter loved being outside and it only rained on us a little bit. I already can't wait to take Carter back next year when he will be a little older.

There were lots of baby animals including some cute kittens

There was a pretty vegetable garden too

Luckily it only rained for the first few minutes that we were there.

A pony

We got to feed some chickens and ducks

Kevin liked teasing them and make them chase after him to get the food, he kept running back and forth with the food in his hand...sometimes he's not very nice.

This pig won a ribbon at the fair...not sure why but I'm sure its pretty cool

There were even chicks hatching! They were so cute.  There were two that were just breaking out of their shells.

Baby cow!

Sheep that kept baaaing at us

Petting baby chicks

and baby ducks

Carter liked those

The cutest little baby goats, this one was my favorite

Peacocks

These piglets were only 7 days old! They were so cute all piled up taking a nap

This mama pig was pregnant and so big and tired that she couldn't even get up to eat. She was just laying there trying to lick the hay up into her mouth...poor piggy. I totally understand. I only had one baby in me and by the end I didn't want to move either.

Carter liked the pigs.

Picking out a pumpkin!

Carter wanted that pumpkin so bad.

Worn out after a fun day.
